REAL BUSINESS MAGAZINE NAMES NFI NETWORKING AMONGST “BEST PLACES TO MEET ENTREPRENEURS”

Ranks alongside Institute of Directors and five places higher than Facebook

NFI Networking is one of the best places to meet entrepreneurs, according to Real Business Magazine.

In an article published in its March 2010 issue, Real Business ranks the best places to meet and network with entrepreneurs. The list includes swanky private members’ bars and social networking sites such as Twitter and LinkedIn.

NFI Networking ranked just after Europe's largest membership organisation for business leaders, the Institute of Directors, and five places above the world’s largest social network, Facebook.

The top-ranked networking events provide business people with a way to make new contacts, generate new business, learn from other entrepreneurs and find new suppliers.

Real Business highlighted NFI Networking because it bans money-lenders, lawyers and life coaches from joining.  Such industries are often over-represented at networking events.

Karl Robinson, from Cloud Data, a member of NFI Networking, told Real Business, “[NFI Networking is] about making quality contacts rather than the hard sell.”

Not everyone qualifies for NFI Networking’s events – it’s about getting the right mix of people. The events shun the self-promotion of other networking events and promote cooperation and mutual help, encouraging members to create meaningful relationships with contacts that will benefit them professionally.

Events are free and held quarterly in London. The next NFI event will be held on Thursday 9th September 2010 at 18:00 at the Woodstore Bar and Grill.
